CLAIMING SPACE

Each month, we gather around one big table to share our individual stories and have discussions as a community (and eat cake!).

Each person has around 5 minutes to share whatever they choose about the monthly topic.

As we listen, we also create: The table is filled with art supplies: paper, colored pencils, water color, crayons, clay, play dough, etc.

This month's discussion topic:

RECONCILIATION
Each person's experience is unique. What does reconciliation mean to you?

(You should feel free to simply listen compassionately if you'd prefer not to share.)

Co-hosted by Taylor Pride and St. James Episcopal Church (with a grant from the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, Columbia University), CLAIMING SPACE is a series of gatherings that will use creativity and conversation to explore the hurt and hope of our spiritual journeys, particularly for folks in the LGBTQIA community.
